This is a gymnastic move, but very popular on the dancefloor.
It is helpful if you are comfortable doing handspring or cartwheels or any move that flips you over so that you land on your feet.
Also, if you're a beginner, work on perfecting a hand stand-to-bridge. Do a hand stand, hold it for a second, then bend over in bridge position from it, so that your finger tips are facing the same direction as your toes. This will help you hone the movement that will help propel you forward in a front flip.
Now for the actual front flip. Some people start by taking a running leap, some don't, and both videos depict a different type of start. If you start from standing REALLY push off with your feet and ankles in order to give yourself enough momentum. While arching your back over your head, keep your legs straight and use hip and shoulder power to land in an upright standing position.
